Roller screens
Thanks to more than two decades of development experience, the Schmidt-Posch roller screens have become dominant players in the market with their exceptional reliability and modern technical solutions. Thanks to the partnership between Schmidt-Posch Mining and 3B, the production of the machines is now carried out by 3B, while the continuous development work is managed jointly by the two companies, guaranteeing ongoing innovation and excellent quality thereby.

Why roller screens?
The use of a roller screen is justified because there is no other technology that can separate such large stones from fine materials. Its robust construction ensures that it can handle stones up to 1800 mm in size, and it can easily separate the useful rocks from the sticky, clumped bulk materials. This is a unique technical solution that enables the processing and cleaning of stones of such a large size. This is the case for all roller screen systems available on the market. This efficiency cannot be achieved with other solutions.
Smart technology
Schmidt-Posch has specialised in the development of roller screen technology for more than two decades, and it is the only manufacturer that offers shafts that can be operated continuously at different speeds.
These shafts can be rotated forwards and backwards, while the system automatically detects overload. The intelligent technology adapts optimally to each rock and stone, ensuring the perfect cleaning.
As a result of our optimizations, the roller screen can be used as a feeder. We can feed directly onto the shafts with the help of an excavator or loader

Performance and efficiency
The use of roller screens has numerous advantages. The performance of the crushing and processing plant behind the screen can be increased, it improves the quality of the final products and reduces the operating costs of the mine with its low energy consumption and independent operation. The machines have oblique side walls, so no blockages may occur. As a side effect, the screens can handle 50% larger materials than the actual width of the roller screen. For example, in case of a feed hopper width of 800 mm, material of 1200 mm can be fed.
Operating principle
The core of the machines consists of massive, high-strength shafts equipped with unique Hardox discs. The polygons on which the material runs make the rock move constantly. During the multi-phase cleaning process, the shafts move in sync or at different speeds, ensuring maximum efficiency through their back and forth rotation.

Fixed, mobile or tracked versions
Our products are available in different versions, so they can be flexibly integrated into existing processing plants or can be used directly on site.

Low operating costs
The diesel-electric drive provides optimised performance with low energy consumption. All equipment can be operated on mains power.

High capacity machines
Our machines are capable of continuous outputs of up to 1000-1500 t/h.
